Touchstone Dentistry is a state-of-the-art practice that uses the very best that technology has to offer in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. But that in itself is not enough to find us attractive as a practitioner. We realize that making a commitment for cosmetic dental work is not an easy one. Once that commitment is made, we want to do everything in our power to assure you that you made the right decision.
From the moment you make your appointment to the time you leave our offices, your care and comfort are our highest priorities. Whether you have traveled across the country or from across town to spend your time with us, we realize that your time is valuable and we will work to ensure that your time is well-spent.
Because of the philosophy of Touchstone Dentistry and the manner in which the practice is structured, we are able to compress days of dental work into hours; weeks into days. If you are so inclined, you can schedule the most complex treatments with assurance that your calendar won’t be unnecessarily clogged.
Our talented and dedicated staff will not only see to your every dental need while you are here, but will also serve as your personal concierge. For those guests traveling from out of town, airport pickup and return is available, as are hotel reservations. Even last-minute dining and shopping requirements can be easily met.
When You Arrive
In our comfortable waiting room – where you won’t have to wait long – we want you to feel as if you are our guest. Plush, comfortable chairs help you to feel at home and a variety of beverages are available to make you wonder if you’re not in your kitchen waiting for Dr. Touchstone to make a house call. Your forms will have already been filled out and there won’t be that nervous 20-minute wait while you make your way through a maze of paperwork. After a refreshing cup of gourmet coffee, it will be time to start working on your new smile.
Your First Exam
Along with your new smile, our priority is your oral health. During the initial phase of your dental work, we will use the latest that technology has to offer to examine your existing dental work and evaluate whether you have any pressing problems that need immediate attention. Before we can take on an aesthetic project, we must be certain that your oral health is in good shape. Once that’s settled, we can then move on to the decision-making process. Dr. Touchstone and you will work together to outline a treatment plan that addresses all of your needs.
Our Diagnostics
At first, it might sound remarkable that you could have a crown or other restoration in a single visit to the dentist. With CEREC 3D – developed by Sirona Dental Systems – the remarkable has become the commonplace. The combination of hardware and software takes a three-dimensional image of your teeth and the ceramic material is milled in our offices while you are here being treated. Gone are the days of too many injections and too much drilling, not to mention the dreaded temporary crown that might or might not stay on until your next visit to the dentist. The same is true for onlays and veneers, all of which can be done more quickly and conveniently than ever before. And not only does Dr. Touchstone use CEREC in his practice, he also instructs other dentists in its use.
While You Wait
Have you ever had a smoothie at the dentist’s office? Now you can. While you wait for your restorations to be made, we will make sure that lunch is taken care of. A delicious smoothie should more than hold you while the work is being done. We have the Apple iTouch for you to enjoy movies, videos or music. You can also use our complimentary internet access. And should you be the least bit chilled after the smoothie, we have ultra-cozy blankets for your comfort.

He is also a husband, father and a compassionate practitioner of dentistry. The patient’s needs are always the priority. Professionally speaking, Dr. Touchstone has more than 13 years of clinical experience using state-of-the-art dental technology. In addition to patient care, Dr. Touchstone is the inventor of Easymatch, a system for color matching that has revolutionized precision shading of restorations. He is a consultant to many of the leading dental manufacturers and is an instructor and lecturer to dental professionals all over the world. But his main concern is and always has been his commitment to aesthetic dentistry and the healing power of smiles.
